Senior Adviser, Head of Israel
Ran is a Senior Adviser to Permira and Head of Israel, based in Tel Aviv.
Prior to joining Permira in 2020, Ran was President and CEO of Netafim, the irrigation global leader and a former Permira fund portfolio company. Prior to joining Netafim, Ran was located in Singapore and served as CEO of Asia-Pacific, Africa & Middle East at Makhteshim Agan Industries (now Adama Agricultural Solutions), a leading global manufacturer and distributor of crop-protection solutions. Before that, Ran served as CFO of the Makhteshim Agan group from 2006-2010.
In 2018, during his tenure as Netafim CEO, Ran received the Israeli Industry Award.

Qualifications
Ran holds a BA in Accounting and Economics (with Honours) and an MBA specialising in Finance both from Bar-Ilan University in Israel. He is also a Certified Public Accountant in Israel.
