- Dinaro to succeed Francesco Pascalizi, Partner and Co-Head of Consumer

Milan, 26th February 2026 – Permira, the global investment firm, today announced the appointment of Giorgio Dinaro as Head of Milan. Giorgio succeeds Francesco Pascalizi, who has held the role of Head of Milan since 2019 and will continue in his role as Partner and Global Co-Head of Consumer, based in Milan.
Permira opened its Milan office in 1988 and since then, the Permira funds have invested in more than 55 companies in Italy, supporting their long-term growth and international expansion. These investments include Arcaplanet, Golden Goose, Gruppo Florence, K-Way, Kedrion Biophrama, La Piadineria and Valentino.
Giorgio Dinaro joined Permira in 2014 and was appointed Managing Director in the Consumer sector in 2021. Over the past decade, he has worked on a number of the firm’s investments in Italy, including Arcaplanet, La Piadineria, Golden Goose, Gruppo Florence and K-Way. He currently serves on the Boards of Golden Goose and Gruppo Florence and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Permira Foundation. Prior to joining Permira, Giorgio worked in the investment banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
