London, November 11, 2026 – The Permira Foundation, funded and incubated by global investment firm Permira, today announced that Magic Breakfast, Upwardly Global and The Opportunity Network have joined its Growth Fund. They join the Fund’s first three partners, selected in 2025: AllChild (UK), Off Road Kids (Germany) and Challenge Partners (UK).

The Permira Foundation Growth Fund exists to support partners over the long term as they navigate ambitious growth journeys. It combines multi-year, unrestricted funding with tailored pro bono value-creation support from Permira teams, drawing on the firm’s expertise, networks and resources. Each of the new partners has worked with the Foundation for several years, and has been selected for its track record of impact, the strength of its leadership and its plans to scale its innovative solutions to a complex social challenge.

Magic Breakfast, a UK charity, provides nourishing breakfasts so that children and young people can learn and thrive. It reaches over 380,000 pupils a year, and its evidence has helped inform national breakfast club policy in England. The Permira Foundation Growth Fund will support Magic Breakfast through a major shift in its model, as government provision expands in primary schools and the charity focuses on secondary schools and wider systemic impact. Permira’s pro bono support includes advice at CEO and senior leadership level, practical AI adoption and fundraising capability building.

Upwardly Global, working across the US, removes employment barriers for work-authorised immigrant, refugee and asylee professionals. It has grown its reach more than fourfold since 2020, supporting around 12,600 jobseekers in 2025, and works with a network of over 100 partner non-profits and colleges. The Foundation’s funding and Permira’s pro bono support in AI and product advisory, employer engagement and go-to-market strategy will help Upwardly Global develop a place-based approach to growth.

The Opportunity Network, based in New York, supports underrepresented students from college access through to their first careers. In FY25, 100% of its Fellows graduated high school and 99% matriculated at a four-year college. The Permira Foundation Growth Fund will support the Opportunity Network as it expands to new boroughs and cities, with Permira providing leadership advisory, communications support and go-to-market strategy support.

Katie Rose, Executive Director of the Permira Foundation, said: “We are delighted to welcome Magic Breakfast, Upwardly Global and The Opportunity Network to the Permira Foundation’s Growth Fund. We have worked alongside each of them for several years, and we are excited to deepen those partnerships with long-term funding and the expertise of colleagues across Permira as they scale their impact for the communities they serve.”

Since launching in 2025, the Permira Foundation Growth Fund’s first three partners have made strong progress. AllChild is working to expand from five to at least ten communities by 2028, Off Road Kids is scaling its reach to young homeless people across Germany, and Challenge Partners is extending its school collaboration model to reach more disadvantaged pupils.

The Growth Fund sits alongside the Foundation’s Spark Fund, which provides catalytic funding and pro bono support to locally rooted non-profits. Together, the two support 31 non-profits working in education, employment and health across Europe and the US.
