Derek Mills

Derek is a member of the Value Creation Team with a focus on growth strategy, go-to-market, sales and marketing effectiveness, pricing and other value creation activities across all sectors with a primary focus on services and software companies. Derek has worked on several transactions and with a number of portfolio companies including Alter Domus, Axiom, Cielo, Encore Fire Protection, Engine, Motus, Octus and Zendesk.

Prior to joining Permira, Derek was a Managing Director with Blue Ridge Partners, a growth-focused consultancy serving private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Earlier, Derek was an investment professional with Brahma Management, an emerging markets-focused private equity firm, after beginning his career with Goldman Sachs.
