Michael has more than 30 years of experience in successfully building and scaling technology companies & digital businesses and executing large-scale digital business transformations for global corporations.
Michael is currently the CDTO and Board Observer of VFS Global, the world’s largest technology services provider for governments and diplomatic missions. Prior to that, he carried out numerous Business Technology Executive roles across various industries, including serving as CDIO of Henkel, CDO of Schindler, CEO of Schindler Digital Business, CIO of Bosch Rexroth and Consultant at SAP.
Michael has extensive experience in serving as Non-Executive Director of public and private boards for Fortune 500 companies, SMBs and startups, including Adevinta, Lufthansa, Lufthansa Technik, Schindler, VFS Global, valantic, FogHorn Systems and Predikto.

Qualifications
Michael holds a master’s degree in computer science and business administration from the University for Cologne, Germany and is an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, IL/USA. He also received the MIT Sloan Leadership Award from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA/USA for his exceptional work in digital business innovation.
