Yi focuses on investment opportunities across all sectors. He has worked on a number of transactions including English First Kids & Teens, Full Truck Alliance and Acuity Knowledge Partners.
Prior to joining Permira, Yi worked as a VP of Transformation for Platinum Equity’s portfolio companies in Asia, leading the development and execution of value creation initiatives with both growth and cost efficiency levers.

Qualifications
Yi holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Houston and has an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin with honours.
Yi possesses multiple professional certifications including PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), SME Lean Bronze Certification, and is a Prosci certified professional in change management.
