He serves on the Firm Operations Committee and the Ascent Investment Committee. He has worked on a number of transactions including Algolia, Allegro, Ancestry, CommentSold, Engine, FullStory, G2, Genesys, GWI, Housecall Pro, Klarna, Magento, Mirakl, Motus, Mutant, P&I, Pepperjam, Salsify, Seismic, Sysdig, TeamViewer and Versaterm. He serves or has served as a Non-Executive Director at Allegro, FullStory, Genesys, GWI, Housecall Pro, Motus, Mutant, Magento, Pepperjam, TeamViewer and Versaterm.
Phil is an Investment lead for our social impact partnership with The Arc Tampa Bay, a charity partner with the Permira Foundation.
Prior to joining Permira, Phil worked at Raymond James Capital, Francisco Partners, and Bain & Company.

Qualifications
Phil has a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with Highest Honor from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, where he was a President’s Scholar.
