The Permira Foundation and LEYF

London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) is one of London’s largest and most successful charitable social enterprises, operating nearly 40 award-winning nurseries, including some in London’s most disadvantaged areas. The Permira Foundation is supporting LEYF to help expand its network of nurseries to make a lasting impact on the lives of London’s most disadvantaged children.

The Permira Foundation supported LEYF’s Doubling Down initiative which doubles the Government-funded provision of early childhood education and care for vulnerable children from 15 to 30 hours per week, with a marked impact on children’s development, communication skills, wellbeing and parental engagement in their home learning environment.
