The Permira Foundation builds meaningful partnerships with social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations. Working with Permira, it combines the skills and experience Permira has to offer with investment in local economies and communities.

The Permira Foundation does not consider or accept any unsolicited funding requests from charities, as we connect with partners through Permira employees, in line with our strategy.

Permira Relief Fund

In April 2020, The Permira Foundation set up a Global Relief Fund in swift response to COVID-19.

Dedicated to supporting communities across the globe, we've helped local charities working with those particularly affected by the pandemic.

There has been a particular focus on engaging with charities beyond financial support, with many Permirans volunteering their own time and expertise to help those in need.

With a refreshed mission and vision, the Permira Foundation supports those facing social exclusion and disadvantage in communities around the world. In 2022, we amplified our depth of impact, backed by enhanced governance and grant making processes.
